David Insell was born in 1952. He was raised a Methodist. He was born-again in 1971 and filled with the Holy Spirit in 1972. In 1976 he attended Rhema Bible Training Center, an affiliate of the Kenneth Hagin Ministries. In 1978, he became the pastor of the Louann Assembly of God in south Arkansas. He was the founding pastor of England Christian Center in England, AR in 1980. He became the pastor of
Believers' Outreach Center Church (now Believers' Community
Church) in 1981.
